Spotted at a Seattle-area event, this Vintage Ford F-100 takes the pro-street thing to the next level, with a funny car-style flip-up body. You can do that sort of thing with the 1961-63 “unicab” trucks, which melded the bed and cab into a single body. It was a good idea on paper that didn’t translate well in reality, because it eliminated flexibility when loaded down with a heavy cargo load. The structure between the cab and bed was notoriously prone to rusting, too. Nevertheless, this enthusiast’s creative and obviously labor-intensive vision was executed well. Looks like a dual-quad SOHC engine between the frame rails, too. Cool.
